I’m a single mom first. I’m also someone who built a practice in the middle of real life, not in spite of it.
Ovela came from the parts of my story that weren’t tidy or easy. It was born during a season where I was raising my son, showing up for clients, and trying to figure out what it meant to keep going when things felt heavy.
I didn’t start this practice to build a brand. I started it because I wanted something that felt more human. For me, and for the people who find their way here.
I’m a single mom, a therapist, and the founder of Ovela.
This practice didn’t come from a business plan. It came from life... the kind that’s messy and beautiful and nonstop. Ovela started as an idea during one of the hardest seasons of my life, when I was learning how to hold space for others while holding everything together for myself.
As a single mom, I’ve learned how to move forward when the path isn’t clear. How to stay grounded when things feel uncertain. That’s the kind of life experience that shaped Ovela from the very beginning.
To me, evolving isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about being honest with where you are and choosing to keep going.
That’s what this space is built on.
